VRChat Asset Store — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, commissioning, or using any products from this store, you agree to follow these Terms of Service (“TOS”). Failure to comply may result in blacklist actions, revoked access, or reporting to appropriate platforms.

2. Definitions

Creator / Seller — The owner of this store and all related products.

Buyer / Customer — Any individual who purchases or receives products from this store.

Assets — Avatars, textures, materials, shaders, animations, models, worlds, prefabs, icons, edits, or any digital content sold or distributed.

3. Permitted Use

You MAY:

Use purchased assets for personal VRChat use.

Edit assets for your own private use.

Upload purchased avatars to your personal VRChat account.

Stream or create content featuring the assets.

Use assets in photos, videos, TikToks, livestreams, and social media posts.

4. Prohibited Use

You MAY NOT:

Redistribute, leak, trade, share, or resell any asset files.

Upload public versions of private avatars unless explicitly stated.

Claim the assets as your own work.

Remove creator credits where credits are required.

Share package files with friends, partners, groups, or servers.

Use assets for hateful, illegal, or malicious purposes.

Reuse any part of the product for commercial resale without permission.

Price split or group buy products.

5. Commercial Use

Commercial use is NOT allowed unless explicitly stated in the product description or granted through written permission.

Commercial use includes:

Reselling edits

Nitro models

Adoptables

Asset commissions using store assets

Paid uploads using included assets

Redistribution in any form

6. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of VRChat assets:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

No refunds, exchanges, or chargebacks will be accepted once files are delivered.

Attempted chargebacks may result in:

Permanent blacklist

Revoked access

Platform reports

Exceptions may be made only if:

The wrong file was delivered

The product is completely broken upon purchase

7. Upload Services

If upload services are offered:

Buyer must provide correct VRChat account information.

The creator is not responsible for:

VRChat bans

SDK issues

Quest incompatibility unless specified

Future VRChat updates breaking functionality

Uploads are typically non-refundable once completed.

8. Asset Credits

Many products may contain third-party assets.

Buyers are responsible for:

Purchasing required assets separately if needed

Following original creators’ TOS

Crediting original creators where required

Failure to respect original asset creators violates this TOS.

9. Editing Policy

Minor edits are allowed for personal use.

You MAY NOT:

Resell edited versions

Claim edited versions as fully original

Redistribute edited files

Use edits to bypass this TOS

10. Commissions

For commissioned work:

Clear references must be provided.

Major revisions after completion may require additional payment.

Completion times may vary depending on workload and complexity.

Harassment, spam, or disrespectful behavior may result in cancellation without refund.

11. Blacklist Policy

You may be blacklisted for:

Leaking assets

Chargebacks

Harassment

Scamming

TOS violations

Attempting to bypass ownership verification

Blacklisted users lose access to future support, purchases, updates, and services.

12. Ownership & Copyright

All assets remain the intellectual property of the creator unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing a product grants a license to use the asset — NOT ownership of the files themselves.

13. Support

Support is only provided for:

Verified customers

Official product versions

Reasonable technical issues

Support does NOT include:

Teaching Unity basics

Full avatar optimization

Rebuilding heavily modified avatars

Fixing issues caused by user edits

14. Updates to TOS

These Terms of Service may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of products after updates implies acceptance of the revised TOS.
