Hellebore is a patten for a cardigan worked from the top down and using the stranded colourwork technique and a steek at the centre front.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) 6, 7, 8, 9.

Finished bust measurement: 30.75 (33.5, 36, 41.5, 44) 49.5, 52, 54.75, 60”/ 77 (83.5, 90, 103.5, 110) 123.5, 130, 137, 150cm.
To be worn with approximately 0 - 2”/ 0 - 5cm of positive ease.

Needles: US 2.5/ 3.0mm or size to obtain gauge in both single color and stranded Stockinette stitch (this may be the same size or 2 different sizes); US 1.5/ 2.5mm or size to obtain gauge in Garter stitch; both in 32”/ 80cm circulars and DPNs.

Gauge: 30 sts and 32 rows = 4”/ 10cm in Stockinette stitch (single color and stranded; blocked);
26 sts and 48 rows = 4”/ 10cm in Garter stitch (blocked).

Yarn: fingering weight in four colors:
MC: 550 (575, 600, 630, 710) 820, 950, 1150, 1360 yards/ 503 (526, 549, 576, 649) 750, 869, 1052, 1244 meters;
CC1: 320 (350, 370, 410, 470) 550, 660, 750, 800 yards / 293 (320, 338, 375, 430) 503, 604, 686, 732 meters;
CC2 and CC3: 210 (220, 250, 300, 350) 400, 420, 450, 500 yards / 192 (201, 229, 274, 320) 366, 384, 411, 457 meters.

Notions: 5 stitch markers, scrap yarn, tapestry needle, buttons (as many as you prefer), shears, needle and thread.
