The Braided Bread Sweater is a beautifully detailed sweater that you’ll want to wear all fall and winter long. With a nod to classic cable sweater motifs, the Braided Bread Sweater brings a new twist by using brioche stitches to allow these cables to pop against a contrasting background color. This project will allow you to take your brioche knitting skills to a new level, but with only two new stitches to learn, you will conquer these deceptively simple cables in no time. Combining the squishy brioche stitch with light fingering weight yarn creates a garment that will keep you warm in the winter chill, while still being comfortable when you step inside. This sweater is knit flat in pieces from the bottom up and seamed. The straight body shape and set in sleeves create a silhouette that is flattering on a person of any gender.
