Private by design

The kit is a file on your device. There is no account, nothing is sent anywhere.

Honest limits

• It is a plan and a set of records. It is not a security audit, and it does not scan or test your accounts, devices or passwords.

• Do not type passwords, recovery codes or backup codes into it. Write where they are kept. Anyone who can open your saved file can read what you typed, so keep it somewhere safe.

• Facts about Apple, Google and Bitwarden tools, and about CISA and FTC guidance, were read from their official pages on 28 October 2026 and can change. Check the current page before relying on a detail. Tools named are not independently tested, and we are not affiliated with any of them.

• Some free-plan features differ between tools. For example, Bitwarden's Emergency Access is a premium feature, so the kit includes other ways to plan for emergencies.

• The "After a breach" page follows US FTC guidance. Outside the US, use your own country's official guidance.

• Fields are standard PDF form fields. They work in common PDF apps, but some mobile or in-browser PDF viewers handle forms less well. If a field will not accept typing, try a desktop PDF app or print the light version.
