Heart-Shaped Soxx

Heart-Shaped Soxx are full of happy rock’n roll attitude with their black-and-white stripes and pink, hearty hearts. 🩷

This sock knitting pattern is written with both US and metric terms, and is available in English, Finnish and Swedish.

Heart-Shaped Soxx are knit top down, from cuff to toe. The socks with reinforced heel are worked in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork.

YARN:

140 g any fingering yarn of 100 g = 420 m/459 yds. I used Taito Pirkanmaa Roosa Nauha Sock from my stash.

NEEDLES AND PINS:

• US 1½ (2.5 mm) double pointed needles, or the size to obtain gauge
• Yarn needle for weaving ends
• Stitch marker

SIZES:

US women’s shoe sizes: 7-9

EU shoe sizes: 38-40

GAUGE AND FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

32 stitches x 34 rows: 4 in/10 cm in stranded colorwork stockinette stitch blocked.

length: 10 in/26 cm

circumference: 9 in/22-23 cm
