Tingwall Tea Cosy
A cheery Tea Cosy designed to cover the whole teapot, in banded Fair Isle pattern with a striped lining to maximise heat retention.The checked Tab handle echoes the lower border. The provisional cast-on means the lining can be knitted to fit inside the Fair Islebody, the drape of the fabric creates added warmth.

Jamieson & Smith 5ply Shetland (100% Real
Shetland Wool; 115m/125yds, 50g)
Yarn A: Marsh
Yarn B: Marine
Yarn C: Rust
Yarn D: Mustard
1 x 50g ball each shade
plus smooth waste yarn (6metres approx.)
for provisional cast on.

3mm for lining
3.25mm for Fair Isle pattern, extra set for 3

Tapestry needle for attaching tab handle
