Day Trader2
Day Trader2
Day Trader2 is a specialized intraday timing tool designed for traders and cycle researchers who study future market turning points through geocentric planetary longitudes and the movement of the Ascendant, Descendant, and Midheaven.
The application allows the user to enter one important pivot date and time. It then records the geocentric ecliptic longitude of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the Moon for that selected pivot moment.
After the planetary positions are recorded, the software projects forward by the selected number of calendar days and calculates the local observable times when the Ascendant, Descendant, and Midheaven cross each of those recorded planetary longitudes.
The purpose of Day Trader2 is to help the trader isolate future intraday timing windows where sensitive planetary degrees from an important market pivot may become active again through the angles of the chart.
Key Functions
- Accepts a user-defined market pivot date
- Accepts a specific pivot time, such as 16:00 market close
- Records geocentric ecliptic longitudes for the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and the Moon
- Uses geocentric calculations only, not heliocentric calculations
- Projects forward by the selected number of calendar days
- Calculates future crossover times for the Ascendant, Descendant, and Midheaven
- Supports Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific observable time settings
- Uses Skyfield and the DE421 ephemeris for planetary calculations
- Does not use Swiss Ephemeris
- Keeps the Tkinter interface responsive while future calculations are running
- Exports the final future crossover table to a CSV file for additional research
Output
The software produces a detailed table showing each future date, the recorded geocentric planetary longitude targets, and the calculated times when the Ascendant, Descendant, and Midheaven cross those planetary degrees.
This gives the trader a practical timing table for studying future intraday market windows where planetary degrees from an important pivot date may become active again.
