WHO IT’S FOR

For ecommerce catalog managers, online sellers, product-data assistants, and developers or AI-agent users who check supplier CSV files before importing them into a store. Best for someone comfortable running Python or asking an assistant to run a local tool.

EXAMPLE

A supplier calls its SKU column “Item Code” and uses commas for decimal prices. Adjust the mapping profile, run the validator, and review findings by record and column. Correct the source separately and run it again before importing.

WHAT IT IS

A product CSV validator, supplier-feed checker and AI-agent skill for catalog quality checks. It does not upload products, certify Shopify compatibility, repair records automatically, or confirm that image links work online.

Catch catalog mistakes before the import.

Check a supplier CSV for missing fields, duplicate SKUs, invalid prices, malformed image URLs, and formula-like content. Get findings by logical record and column without rewriting your source.

Includes a local Python validator, an AI-agent skill and runbook, editable column mapping, sample catalogs, and self-tests. Custom headers, delimiters, and decimal separators are supported through the mapping profile.

Requires Python 3.11 or later. No third-party packages, API, or subscription are required by the validator. Using an AI assistant is optional and may involve that assistant’s own costs.

This is a structural checker, not a store importer. It does not verify that image URLs load, establish compatibility with every commerce platform, or decide correct prices. Review and repair your catalog separately before importing it.
