Effy Ligris resides in Montreal with her husband and two children. She is the inheritor of an olive grove, a legacy from her grandfather Vassily who planted it over 50 years ago. Each year, Effy returns to Greece to collaborate with her family in producing olive oil exclusively from these trees. The olives are handpicked in accordance with family traditions. Opting for an early harvest limits the production to about 10,000 bottles annually, but guarantees superior quality and a rich, intense flavor.
