Knitting Hat Pattern:
I was inspired by the yarn from Two Sister’s Yarn Co. It is the perfect neutral with subtle speckles, then I found the perfect pom pom to top it off. A simple textured pattern made the combo shine.
I love a folded brim to keep your ears extra warm, also if you are knitting for a gift and don’t quite know how long to make your hat, they can just fold over more or less of the brim (the hat will always cover their ears).
Sizes: Child (Adult S, Adult L)
Actual hat circumference 15.4” (17.3”, 19.2”)
To Fit 17-19” (19-21”, 21-23”) head circumference
1 skein 100g DK weight yarn or 1 skein 100g fingering weight yarn and 1 skein 50g lace weight held together. *Sample 1 uses Two Sisters Yarn Co Magic City DK in ‘Toasted Marshmallow’ size Adult S. Sample 2 uses Brooklyn Tweed Peerie in ‘Arabesque’ held together with The Alpaca Yarn Co. (fingering weight held with lace weight = DK).
