Mourne Mountain Run 2023

The Mountain Run 2023 is an event held on behalf of Air Ambulance NI Charity. Well attended with around fifty classic car owners in attendance each with their pride and joy. These events always bring out some rare machines and this year was no exception with a racing Talbot Samba; Toyota Starlet, Opel Manta and Fiat Supermirafiori. The usual fast Fords were present with some exciting Capris, Escorts, and Sierras.Unmolested motors were also persent with a very attractive red Escort Mk 1. Others in the carpark ijncluded a range of minis, Toyoa Celicas and the all too rare Mitsubishi 3000 GT. A bright red Lancia Delta Integrale was a marvellous offering from italy. The weather behaved until the afternoon when the rain finally fell, fortunately the journey across the mountain track by then was finished.
