Who am I?
I’m Krzysztof Wierzbicki, and I run the ComfortLab at CYCLINGABOUT.com (formerly at gravelbikes.cc). I’m also the owner of finding.best, a project where I seek out truly meaningful reviews and conduct my own scientific tests to find the best products available.
For the past five years, I’ve been testing, comparing, and reviewing bikes and bike parts with a focus on comfort. Wanting my tests to be as objective as possible, I started measuring vibrations using a Bluetooth sensor and a vibration analysis app. Along the way, I’ve discovered the best comfort-oriented bikes and components - and learned how to make my rides significantly more enjoyable.
You can read more about my testing methodology [here].
Now, I want to share everything I’ve learned and help you achieve the highest level of comfort and riding enjoyment possible.

Let's make your ride really enjoyable!
I truly enjoy cycling, but for a long time, I struggled to achieve the level of comfort needed for longer trips. Driven by my own desire to make my rides as comfortable as possible, I tested and carefully selected the best comfort-enhancing bike components while optimising my riding position - and I finally found what works. Now, I want to help you take your riding comfort to the next level.
We can discuss:
- Choosing the best tires and optimal air pressure for maximum comfort
- Staying seated comfortably, even on bumpy roads, with a well-chosen suspension seatpost
- Reducing hand and upper body fatigue with a suspension stem
- Selecting the best handlebars and bar tape for comfort
- Finding a saddle that perfectly suits your needs
- Deciding whether a suspension fork is necessary for true comfort.
Or anything else you need to make your rides as comfortable as possible!
What will our session look like?
First, you fill out a form describing your problem or the outcome you're looking for. The more precise you are, the better prepared I will be for our session, and the sooner we can get to the root of your comfort challenges.
Next, you complete the payment, and I’ll schedule the best time for our call. The session lasts 60 minutes, but don’t worry - if needed, we can talk longer. My goal is for you to leave our session equipped with all the knowledge you need to drastically improve your riding comfort. And after that, you can always email me at comfortlab@cyclingabout.com for any follow-up questions.
Our meeting will take place online via Teams or Zoom - you choose which platform works best for you. During the session, I’ll listen carefully and provide you with all the answers and insights you need. We can cover a variety of topics, including basic bike fitting (though I always encourage a professional bike fitting session for the best results).
