$900,000 Bad Beat Jackpot From Rivers Casino Pittsburgh
Christmas came early for eight Texas Holdem players at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh on Tuesday night, Nov. 28. They will hand out $905,622.13 in prize money.
Two surprising hands caused the bad beat: one player had four aces and was beaten with royal blush by the other. The "loser" of the hand earned $362,250.13, and the "winner" earned $271,686. The other six players each earned $45,281.
Scott Thompson of Washington, Pennsylvania, won four aces, and Brent Enos of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania won 10 aces, King, Queen, Jack and 10 hearts.
A poker bad beat is when a rare high-ranked hand is beaten by a higher-ranked hand, with a defeated hand triggering a bad beat jackpot, taking the lion's share of the money. In Rivers, the defeated hand gets 40 percent of the total amount, the highest-ranked hand gets 30 percent of the jackpot, and the rest of the players split the rest evenly.
"We are unexpectedly and happily becoming a nationwide Bad Beat Jackpot hotspot," said Bud Green, general manager of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. "Congratulations to the winning guests and the Rivers Pittsburgh poker room team for doing a great job."
Rivers Casino Pittsburgh still holds the U.S. record for bad beat jackpots. With a $1.2 million payment in August 2022, West Virginia poker players received $490,708 and Pittsburgh received $368,029. The other six players at the table received $61,338 each. 에볼루션 바카라사이트
