First Washes: A Little Garden in Watercolor — Printable Workbook

Make room for a little garden in your day. First Washes: A Little Garden in Watercolor is a beginner printable workbook with eight colored examples, eight matching outline templates, suggested palettes and short practice steps.

The colors are inspiration, not an answer key. Choose shades you love and make your painting your own.

INCLUDED IN YOUR 24-PAGE PDF

• Eight projects: garden tulips, corn poppies, lavender, strawberry, sunflower, purple coneflower, garden cosmos and Black-eyed Susan.

• A full-page outline for every project, with a generous 6 × 9-inch image area.

• Colored reference pages, suggested palettes and three practice steps per project.

• Getting-started and printing guidance, warmup exercises, garden notes and sources.

US Letter pages (8.5 × 11 inches). Print at 100% / Actual Size. View the color examples on a screen if you prefer to save color ink.

Print outlines on ordinary paper and transfer them lightly onto watercolor paper. Direct printing onto painting paper is optional only if your printer supports it; test the printed ink with water before painting. Ordinary printer paper is a tracing aid, not the recommended painting surface.

Designed for adult and teen beginners. Digital PDF download only: no physical book, paper, paints, brushes or other supplies included. This is not a paint-by-number kit.

Personal, noncommercial household use. You may print again to practice; do not share, resell or redistribute the PDF or uncolored pages. Classroom and group printing require separate permission.
