Álfur - PDF knitting pattern

This fun and quirky little Hat is knit top down, using a spiral cable pattern. The brim features a warm and stretchy garter stitch band and practical and well fitting earflaps.

4 sizes are included, ranging from 3 months through to teenager/small adult.

Yarn

Yarn A: 40 (51, 61, 75) yd/ 37 (47, 56, 68) m
Yarn B: 46 (57, 70, 85) yd/ 42 (52, 64, 72) m
31yd/29m for a 6x6in/15x15cm swatch in St.St Worsted weight, plied yarn.

Needles & Notions

Set 4mm/UK8/US6 DPNs/Circular or size needed to obtain gauge
Stitch marker as necessary
Tapestry needle
Cable needle

20 sts x 28 rows to 4in/10cm on 4mm needles over St.St.
