Foundations of Happiness Preschool Program
Foundations of Happiness
Preschool Program
The most important lesson in preschool isn’t reading or counting—it’s learning how to be happy.
This play-based program gently introduces preschool-aged children to the four foundations of lasting happiness:
- Confidence – the belief that I deserve to be treated with kindness and respect
- Mindfulness– the ability to slow down and focus
- Emotional communication– the vocabulary to express myself
- Coping skills– a plan for when life gets hard
Through six simple, engaging lessons, children practice emotional recognition, healthy communication, mindfulness, and self-regulation—skills that build stronger mental health, confidence, and resilience for years to come.
What’s Included
Six ready-to-use lessons with clear objectives, instructor notes, discussion prompts, and follow-up ideas you can weave into everyday life:

Why It Matters
Healthy emotional regulation habits started early lead to greater self-worth, clearer communication, the ability to ask for help, and a reliable toolkit of coping strategies. This program is rooted in the belief that true emotional wellness never harms oneself, others, or property—and that kindness is a powerful path to happiness.
“Happiness doesn’t mean everything goes the way we want all the time. It means no matter what happens, we have the foundational values and tools to navigate challenges in a healthy way.”
Perfect for parents, teachers, and caregivers who want to give the little ones in their life more than academic skills—they want to give them the foundations of authentic happiness and lifelong resilience.
Take it one lesson at a time, revisit favorites, or skip what doesn’t click. The goal is simple: let children enjoy the process and leave with tools that last.
