Tooth Rot

The bittersweetness of love was the cause of Lucas’ rotting heart. 

Lucas takes his role as the older brother very seriously. When their mom walked out, leaving them to their abusive dad’s mercy, he took the fall. All the beatings and all the unwanted touching. He made the sacrifices. 

He thought he would be able to escape when his younger brother, Rodrick, made it to community to college, but when he catches Rodrick hanging around the wrong crowd, he sees he might have made a mistake.

But when Rodrick catches their dad taking advantage of Lucas and kills him in a fit of rage, Lucas finds out that Rodrick isn’t the sweet brother he should be protecting. 

Rodrick is more than adamant to show just how grown up he is and how well he can take care of his older brother.
