Every Life Has a Season. Every Season Has A Challenge
Life’s Seasons is a collection of short stories in two parts, of life’s major events and complications.
Part 1:
On the Beach – an unnerving tale set at the fictional picturesque Pontoon Bay Beach house in 1978 – Vronegg Obrist is silent about what she saw one night from the upstairs balcony…until it returns a year later… Stilled Heart is a confronting story of the impact of war on the lives of Hans, Ingrid, and baby Lara in a little town with friendly folk. Dreams and visions in Wandering the Earth tell the tale of Jacob who is chosen as the bearer of an old truth in a spine-chilling story. The Call of The Outback is an Australian story on a retired city police officer’s return to his hometown in the outback when he discovers a long-forgotten crime. In Oceans Away, a writer’s divorce and a series of uncanny events on a sea cruise question her sanity. Final View is a nostalgic and humorous reflection on the life of a glamorous mortician. Those Were the Days charts the shenanigans of a group of university students who pass through the gates of deception, truth, and loss of innocence.
Part 2:
The Rain – short stories reflect the destructive and regenerative force of rain – physically, emotionally, psychologically and as a metaphor for life. Each story showcases the universality of anger, loss, fear, sadness and joy.
