Bookkeeping for Etsy sellers that ends in the number you actually need: your 2026 self-employment tax and quarterly estimated payment.

What you get

  • One Excel file (xlsx), formulas only, no macros.
  • Sales log (1,000 rows): item total, shipping charged, shop discounts, refunds. Sales tax collected by Etsy is kept apart and not counted as your sales.
  • Etsy fees by month: copy the fee amounts from your own Etsy Payment account / monthly statement. No fee rates are filled in on purpose: payment processing fees differ by country and currency, and advertising and Offsite Ads fees differ from seller to seller, so default rates would often be wrong - your statement is exact. The fee columns (listing, transaction, payment processing, Offsite Ads, Etsy Ads, shipping labels, subscription, regulatory operating fee, other) are example names you can rename to match your statement, and each is mapped to a Schedule C line you can change.
  • Expenses log (1,000 rows) with the Schedule C line list (Part II expenses and Part III cost of goods) and a business-use % column.
  • Monthly summary: sales, refunds, fees, expenses, cost of goods, profit and orders for each month.
  • Schedule C totals: lines 1 to 31 and Part III (lines 35 to 42) with your beginning and ending inventory.
  • Tax 2026 (IRS 2026 Form 1040-ES): self-employment tax (92.35% x 15.3%, Social Security part up to $184,500 less W-2 wages, none under $400), income tax with the 2026 standard deduction and Tax Rate Schedules, required annual payment (90% of 2026 or 100%/110% of 2025), quarterly payment and due dates.

Checked: in 12 test setups (losses, profits, W-2 wages near the Social Security wage base, all four filing statuses, the $400 threshold on both sides, rows dated outside 2026), 1,740 values - monthly totals, every Schedule C line and every tax result - were compared with a separate implementation: 0 differences.

Not covered: the QBI deduction calculation, depreciation calculations, capital gains rates, alternative minimum tax, the annualized income method, state income tax, sales tax filing.

Estimates for planning - not tax advice. Not affiliated with Etsy or the IRS.

Refunds: if the file does not open or does not calculate as described, a fixed version or a full refund within 30 days. Contact sungje5575@gmail.com.
