Sleep Support - Breath and Connection
This practice was originally created with my son one night when we were trying to relax for sleep.
I was showing him a little “magic trick” with the breath, something I had learned so he could feel it inside his body.
When he experienced it, he was amazed and intrigued.
We began exploring it together, and it naturally evolved into what I’ve created here… and it worked.
He was so excited by what he was learning, and it reminded me that we are never too young to learn these things or to hold wisdom the world needs.
When I later explored the energetic meaning behind each of the tools we’d intuitively used, I realised that what we had felt in our bodies was already well documented.. both in traditional wisdom and in modern research on the nervous system and the mind-body connection.
It was actually his idea to turn it into a resource for others because he felt it was worth sharing.
So here it is. This practice can be done on your own, or alongside your child as part of your bedtime rhythm.
My Why
Sleep has always been an issue for me. As a child, I had a lot of trouble sleeping, and it followed me into adulthood. Creating practices that support sleep is therefore very close to my heart.
My children, being Projectors, also take longer to wind down at night. They pick up energy from others and need to release this before they can fully rest.
This practice has been helping all of us, making sleep arrive more easily and more gently.
I hope it brings the you the same.
