+++This is a measure and cut pattern which means that there are NO TEMPLATES to print off and match up- Yay! You need a rotary cutter, ruler and mat and you can cut the pattern pieces straight from the fabric. This is easier than it sounds because the pieces are all simple squares and rectangles.

All measurements are in INCHES.

I have rather deliberately not aimed this case at anyone in particular – I originally conceived the idea for my art materials but then I decided that it would be fabulous for knitting or crochet tools too. And make-up! What about make-up brushes, bits and pieces! And let’s not forget the men in our lives – this is the sort of handy case that they might find useful too. Thinking fishing and tools etc.

So let me just say that this is a really useful roll case in two sizes and I am pretty sure that you will find a use for one somewhere. This pattern is shown with lovely hard-wearing dry oilskin but it would be awesome in a canvas too. There is actually no extra lining fabric needed and no interfacing- most scandalously unusual for one of my patterns! The result is a hardy little workhorse that can follow you everywhere.

Pattern Rating: intermediate sewist with some knowledge and bag making experience assumed. This pattern comes with some handy printable labels to help you to keep track of the pieces. Simply print them off, cut them out and pin to the pieces as you cut them out.
