The cycle automatically controls the complete machining sequence from the first V groove to the final part-off operation.

For every programmed groove the cycle performs:

🔨 FULL-RETRACT PECK MACHINING


Deep V grooves can create chip-control and tool-loading problems when the cutting tool remains buried in the component.

This cycle uses a controlled full-retract peck strategy.

After each cutting peck, the tool completely retracts outside the stock before returning for the next cutting movement.

This provides:

✂️ AUTOMATIC FINAL PART-OFF


The cycle also includes an integrated automatic part-off operation.

The important sequence is:

Machine all V grooves → Finish all V grooves → Move to part-off position → Part off component

The part-off operation does not begin until the complete programmed V-pulley profile has been finished.

The final part-off position is independently adjustable for different component lengths.

The part-off operation uses the same controlled full-retract machining principle.

The tool progressively cuts deeper while completely clearing the stock between pecks.
