🌀 En un futuro posible, Xiete, Iztli y Teo son guiades a escondidas por varios seres hacia la superficie de la Tierra, para reivindicar el derecho de los “Malos” de la subzona a vivir libres de imperialismos opresivos, arrancándolos desde la raĂz. Por amor al amor, se cuestionan y se transforman en La Zona Roja, planeando asĂ cĂłmo llegar con armonĂa a la nueva vida que envisionan, bajo las estrellas y a la orilla del mar.
La Zona Roja, en su primera edición en spanglish, mira hacia la descolonización transfronteriza y a la ternura radical como brújula, proponiendo que siempre vaya más allá de la metáfora.
🌀 In a possible future, Xiete, Iztli, and Teo are secretly guided by various beings to the surface of the Earth to reclaim the right of the “Malos” from the subzone to live free from oppressive imperialisms—uprooting them entirely. Out of love for love, they question themselves and transform in La Zona Roja, where together they plan how to arrive in harmony at the new life they envision, beneath the stars and at the edge of the sea.
La Zona Roja, in its first edition in Spanglish, looks toward transborder decolonization and radical tenderness as its compass, proposing that it always go beyond metaphor.
