This is a pattern for a pair of lined mittens worked from the bottom up and in the round, using the stranded colourwork technique.

Both the outer mitten is worked from an i-cord cast-on. The outer mitten is worked first before the lining, which is then picked up from the inside of the outer mitten.
You may use the same weight or a slightly lighter weight for the lining (as seen in the sample: outer mitten with Shetland 4 ply and inner with Hawkcombe Wood Collection).

There are charts for Left and Right mittens. Size is determined by the needle size (a chart with a slightly larger thumb width is also included, if needed).

Lighter Mitten charts are included, if these work better with your printer or viewing platform.
In addition, there is an explanation for the Ladderback/Invisible Jacquard technique with sample and image on page 8. You may find this technique helpful if you are not lining your mittens.

You may also work the mitten without a lining and from a ribbed edge.
