Flux Alluvia is a string sextet commissioned by Connecting Threads, the cultural strand of Destination Tweed. Its three movements are inspired by three stretches of the River Tweed — at Peebles, Kelso and Norham — and by the voyages of Mark Zygadlo's WaterOrgan at these locations.
