This Term 3, your child will spend 8 weeks exploring areas of STEM that go far beyond what the standard curriculum allows — through genuine investigations, open-ended missions, and a warm community of like-minded young scientists.

Each week your child is handed a mission brief — a real concept, a real investigation, and the freedom to go as deep as they want.

A GLIMPSE INSIDE THE PROGRAM

It's Week 7.

Your child opens their mission brief and discovers they've been handed a secret.

They crack a coded message, create their own cipher and follow a real treasure hunt — then investigate how cryptography quietly protects every message sent on the internet today. They research the real Cryptanalysts behind this work and make the connection between a pencil, a code and the technology that keeps the modern world secure.

On Friday they share their discoveries with their peers — a video, a drawing, a written reflection, however they choose — and the group celebrates together.

This is Week 7. This is Piccolini Professors.

HOW IT WORKS

Every Sunday a new mission brief drops in your child's Google Classroom.

Monday brings a community discussion prompt.

Wednesday brings a mid-week check in to share discoveries and progress.

Friday your child posts their investigation — a video, photos, a drawing, a written reflection or however they choose to present their work.

At the end of 8 weeks every child receives an end of program learning summary outlining every area of STEM explored throughout the program.

A NOTE FOR FAMILIES

Piccolini Professors — STEM is a supervised online learning community. A parent or guardian is asked to monitor their child's participation and assist where needed. Some of the best discoveries happen when a grown-up gets curious too.

ABOUT YOUR PROGRAM CREATOR

I'm Hayley — a qualified teacher, a mum, and a former Teaching Specialist in the Faculty of Science at one of Australia's top university. I built Piccolini Professors — STEM because I wanted to create something truly different — a place where curious kids can explore the areas of STEM that go far beyond what standard learning allows.
