Shirin Shawl is a reflection of how I like to treat my wandering mind with my favorite craft - get into the flow of knitting and watch some delicate lace form under my needles, then slip away into the quietness of garter and at times revel in creating bobbles with child-like delight. The end result is a lovely wrap to add a touch of whimsy to my outfits when I feel like some.

The word Shirin means sweet, pleasant, or charming, and I thought it describes the design well.

Shirin Shawl is worked sideways starting with a few cast-on stitches and increased along one edge until the depth of the shawl is reached and then decreased along the same edge to complete the triangle. Garter stitch, diamond lace, and bobbles are worked in alternating stripes throughout the body of the shawl.

Many thanks to The Plucky Knitter for their support with this design. ♥️
