For CoastalMae Custom Sports Bra Pattern Drafted by Divine

These are two custom sports bra patterns drafted for u/CoastalMae. One version is a horizontal seam cup pattern.

The other is a vertical seam cup pattern.

The style is wireless but has a wire-line included for reference.

The sports bra aims to be medium to high-support. Depending on fabric choice for the cups, one can achieve separation like in classic encapsulation sports bras. This is more likely to happen if you use stretch fabric for the cups compared to woven fabric. You can also use cut-and-sew foam for the cups. Fabric choice in the cups impacts support so test and experiment :).

It is a zip front-opening sports bra, so you can wear it easily. This is helpful especially if you have mobility issues, or to protect your hairstyle or your facial skin or make-up.

Bonus Design Option: If you prefer a classic pull-on style, you can cut the center front piece on the fold, use stretch fabric for the cups, and finish the sports bra with a full elastic waistband.

Printing Instructions

• Scale Settings: Do not select "shrink to fit" or "shrink to page." Your printer settings must be set to 100%, Actual Size, or Default.
• Verify Size: Always measure the Test Squares printed on the pages to confirm your printer scaled the pattern correctly.
• Assembly: If provided, use the pattern page layout image on the final page as a map to assemble your pattern pieces together.
