Crestron Programming Basics
Making a room full of equipment behave like one appliance
A control system is a small computer with a program on it, wired to everything else in the room, whose job is to make a complicated set of equipment behave like a single appliance. Somebody presses one button and a projector wakes, a screen lowers, a switcher routes, lights dim, and an audio system comes up at the right level. That is the whole product, and the program is the thing that does it.
