Following the Ancient Path — Study III The Garden Before the Fall: Formed with Love, Filled with Breath, Sent with Purpose
Before the fall, before the first sin, there was a garden.
In Genesis 2:7–15, we are brought into a moment of nearness—where Elohim forms humanity from the ground, breathes life into what He has made, and places His creation within a prepared environment with purpose.
This study explores the original design of humanity:
- Formed from the earth
- Given life by the breath of God
- Placed with intention
- Entrusted with responsibility
Through this passage, a clear pattern emerges—one that reveals that nothing about human life is self-originated. Formation, life, and placement all come from God.
This is not simply a study of creation.
It is a return to understanding purpose before distortion.
Participants will examine:
- The connection between the body and the earth
- The origin and dependence of life on God
- Work as an act of worship, not burden
- Stewardship of the earth, the body, and the life given by God
This study is part of the Following the Ancient Path series and is designed to guide women back to the foundational pattern established in the beginning—where relationship, responsibility, and worship were unified.
