A Promise Made Is a Promise Kept

Can God's promises be trusted when the answer takes time? In A Promise Made Is a Promise Kept, Evangelist W.T. Elliott encourages listeners to stand firmly on the Word of God and remember His faithfulness.

Beginning with his own testimony of mercy and conversion, he contrasts human promises that falter with the steadfast character of God. The message follows God's promises to Abraham, the birth of Isaac, and Israel's journey out of bondage, emphasizing that waiting does not mean the promise has failed.

Evangelist Elliott then turns to the promised Redeemer, the outpouring of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost, and Jesus' promise to return. These passages lead to an invitation to repentance, a changed life, and renewed confidence in the Lord.

With personal illustrations and an earnest appeal to trust Scripture, this message offers encouragement for believers holding on through uncertainty. The original recording includes opening announcements and closing service remarks. Full message MP3 download.
