Velvet Pearls Scarf

A luxurious neck warmer/ scarf made in silk to add elegance and warmth as one gets ready on a cold wintery day!

This pattern was designed to match with the Velvet Pearls Beanie!

The texture of the beanie was easy to recreate but the use of post stitches meant that the piece will show off the yarn floats on the wrong side.

One way to overcome this problem would be to join the start and the final rows and convert it to a cowl. Or you can use buttons or shawl pin to overlap the edges and keep the wrong side from showing.

Sunrays Creations has beautiful shades of silk along with other silk blend yarns and the colorway used for this pattern is aptly named Royal! This in combination with the undyed (natural) color gave a lot of definition to this pattern!

The yardage mentioned is sufficient for the size mentioned . The scarf can be lengthened by doing more repeats and by doing so it would require more yarn.

The pattern will work well with similar DK weight yarn.
