British businessman Alan Michael Sugar, also known as Lord Sugar, argues that the gambling industry's marketing strategy is encouraging people to gamble. He therefore publicly called for stricter broadcasting regulations on gambling advertising in the UK. The businessman went further and demanded a complete ban on these advertisements.

Lord Sugar started his campaign against the gambling problem. He appealed to the government, urging officials in the country to revise the broadcasting law to prevent any betting ads from being broadcast. He explained that all of these marketing strategies affect the vulnerable minds of obsessive gamblers and appeal to them to keep their bad habits. Moreover, they are televised in prime time, when even children are subject to betting ads.

The British businessman also appears to have built a grudge against Ray Winston. Simply put, Mr. Winston became the main promoter of "Beta365" in a TV commercial, where he said, "Gambling responsibly," and then Lord Sugar explained that these hypocritical words made him so angry. According to the businessman, those words are not only inefficient, but also inappropriate. Mr. Winston made it clear that he would not blame Mr. Winston for saying these things, because he would of course have to pronounce them. Gambling advertising partners say companies like Facebook and Google also want to stop allowing such betting promotions on their websites.

Lord Sugar said in the Senate that words like "gambling responsibility" would not solve the problem, calling it "absolutely pathetic." Lord Sugar compared such warnings to those given to alcohol and tobacco, to highlight how useless they were. He backed up his position, explaining that regulators should only air broadcast programs, especially those suitable for families and children.

the British concept of responsible gambling

Responsible gambling has become a major concern in all countries that regulate the gambling market. At this point, many would be prepared to blame officials for allowing the gambling industry to enter the border. However, it is worth mentioning that the problem is more serious in countries where regulations are too harsh, because we have no idea of the practical dimensions of the problem. It is not yet clear whether the UK authorities will take Lord Sugar's words into account and hold the marketing companies accountable, but one thing that the Government should be clear about is when such betting promotions are broadcast. According to the British legal framework, game operators and publishers cannot target minors in any way. 온라인카지노
