Millimodel GWS1 Great Western Railway Autotrain

Millimodel GWS1. Great Western Railway 48xx class loco and two Autocoaches. 1/200 scale.

This is a 2007 designed card kit to cut out and assemble which builds to a complete passenger train measuring approximately 10” long with extra track base. Comprising 48xx class Collet 0-4-2T locomotive, a pair of autocoaches and track base.This model represents a typical branchline train circa 1935.

Several of these locomotives are preserved, number 1466 being the first locomotive to be purchased by what became the Great Western Society based at Didcot, and various examples of different designs of autocoaches also preserved on several heritage railways.

The model follows the style of the 1940s and 1950s Micromodels railway kits, which comprised six postcards contained in a paper wrapper.

The paper wrapper (page 1) has the instructions which you only need to print out if you wish to present the kit in the unbuilt form.
