Ridiculously easy to make tasty dishes that will have your family and friends asking for your recipes.I always loved going to my Grandparent's home for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinner! The food and the atmosphere was always amazingly lovely. As the time passed, I grew older and they have since passed on. I quickly realized that I too wanted to pass along a part of them to my children and gradnchildren, family, and friends. The only way I knew how was to try to recreate the same wonderful meals and atmosphere during the same holidays and special occassions. I also noticed the recipes were hard to come by and recreate. I looked in many cookbooks however, they did not have the traditional southern United States foods within them. What did I do? I learned to cook by helping my grandparents and parents out when I was younger therefore, I was taught the recipes. I know excatly what to add and what not to add along with conversations with my parents, aunts, and uncles we were able to recreate and publish our recipes for the future generations to love. It is my hope that you enjoy each recipe for there are 158 recipes. 1/3 of them are desserts, 1/3 are meals, and 1/3 are drinks of all types. Each recipe has been requested by many people as we take these dishes to parties and events on a regular occasion.
