Some yarns confide us what they want to be knitted into.

I picked up one of those and worked Urze’s garter stitch triangle. Added another one and the stripes and lace motifs gave it a touch of sophistication.

This shawl grows really fast, the details and the color changes keep you interested row after row. The simplicity of the lace motif makes it ideal for a first adventure in the world of knitted lace.

Yarn: Dyed by Alfinete Norte, 3 (2) skeins (50g each), 370 to 460 meters of colour A, 1 skein, 185 to 205 meters of colour B

Size:  Large, 200 cm long and 76 cm height; medium, 186 cm long and 72 cm height; small, 1172 cm long and 68 cm height; easily adjustable

Needles: 4 mm (or other suitable to obtain gauge)

Gauge: 28 rows and 20 sts = 10 cm x 10 cm (in the lace pattern after blocking)

Notions: clip on stitch markers,  tapestry needle to weave in ends
