Using Puppets in ELSA Work

This is a new video download on how to incorporate puppets in ELSA work. This collaboration between Sheila Burton and Dr Pippa Busch includes a discussion on research into the impact of using puppets in work with children. One section considers the wide range of puppets available and how they might be used with different ages. Another section shows how we can helpfully use puppets as metaphors in anger management work. There are two demonstrations of reflective conversations using puppets. These show how we can use puppets in therapeutic work, and potentially also in ELSA supervision to reflect on casework. The company Puppets by Post lent a large selection of puppets for the making of this video and has indicated a willingness to offer discounts to ELSAs wishing to buy puppets for their ELSA work.
