Imaginature is a self-directed course to inspire your imagination and creativity.

The course is for those who wish to tune into nature’s insights to spark the imagination and fuel creativity. It's for all who are (or aspire to be) writers, poets, artists, craft-makers, healers, musicians, storytellers, filmmakers, and creative souls.

Course requirements:

You will need...

+ Pen, paper, notebook, camera (if possible) and sketch book.

+ Your own materials or equipment to create art.

+ Access to nature: trees, gardens, woodland, rivers, seaside or anywhere in the natural realm.

“IMAGINATURE has been born from my own profound experiences being in nature: experiences that have been deeply transforming, healing, and inspiring in ways that have enriched my life. These experiences have fed into my writing and creative expression for many years now, through my stories (see Light Weaver), my poetry and prose, and my art, and still the inspiration flows like an endless stream. Being in nature has made much of my life's journey extra magical, and has brought about deep healing and prolific creativity. It is where you’ll probably find what truly matters to you.

Apart from sharing aspects of my own journey with nature and creative practice, the course calls upon nature’s voice and how the earth has enchanted and inspired our collective journey here. The assignments enable you to connect with nature on a deeper level and expand your imagination through creative expression. The outcomes of this journey will be unique to you. One thing is certain: you will experience the world anew and with extra magic and wonder.”

This self-study course is ideal for those who enjoy exploring, creating and learning independently at their own pace. There is no tutored element, and no course work to submit. Participants are, however, invited to submit a short essay inspired by nature for an online newsletter.
