Keep The Fire Burning

KEEP THE FIRE BURNING

A powerful soul track built around a driving 108 BPM groove and the punchy warmth of classic mono-era analogue recording. Melodic electric bass pushes the rhythm forward alongside crisp drums, tambourine, handclaps, rhythmic electric guitar and rolling piano, while sweeping strings, sharp brass punches and occasional baritone sax add richness and dramatic colour.

A commanding male lead takes centre stage with a rich, expressive delivery, answered by three tightly blended male harmonies in crisp call-and-response. The vocal arrangement gives the song a strong sense of momentum, with the lead remaining dominant as each section rises naturally towards its emotional peak.

Warm analogue production and a steadily intensifying arrangement lead into an explosive final harmony passage, bringing together the full rhythm section, orchestration and voices. “Keep the Fire Burning” has the energy, soul and unmistakable studio character of a classic vintage soul recording.
