This is the seventh pattern in my series of New Zealand Native Birds.
The Morepork (or Ruru) is New Zealand's only surviving native owl.
I'll be honest, in its original form, this pattern could be regarded as pretty challenging. It has some teeny tiny pieces in the eye BUT don't worry! I have included a suggestion as to how those with a bit less paper piecing confidence can still successfully attack this block- I hope you do!
As with all my patterns, this foundation paper pieced pattern contains:
1. written instructions telling you the order to sew the paper pieces together.
2. A pictorial overview of the pattern to help you orientate the pieces
3. Separate pattern pieces which include a 1/4 inch seam allowance.
