Bungendore is a textured reversible cowl that is knit in the round. This textured chevron pattern is easy to master and quickly becomes a meditative and relaxing knit. Knit from less than 100 grams of yarn, this cowl is the perfect size for snuggling into and protection from the Winter chill.


Bungendore is a small town in New South Wales, Australia, where Millpost is situated. The textured stitch pattern aims to evoke the image of native pasture swaying in the breeze.

Bungendore is knit in the round. Simple knit and purl stitches create the texture of the chevron stitch pattern that forms this reversible cowl.

One size - approximately 8¼ inches/21 cms high and 28 inches/71 cms in circumference.

Original yarn is a worsted-spun Superfine Australian Merino that has been grown under permaculture practises. It has a 3 ply structure which provides sensational stitch definition.


Yardage is approximate and may vary depending on your knitting style and yarn selection.
