If your cute little fur baby is chilly, or you want to dress them up a bit, this reversible jacket vest for your pet is a good fit!

My boyfriend's mom had me design and make dog diapers for her pugs, and then I modified the size to fit Yorkies for my customer. My Yorkie mom customer had me create dog diaper wrap bellybands for her fur boy Yorkshire terrier, and then she took a chance on me, and had me figure out how to make dog t-shirts and jackets, more vests, from baby clothes, flannel and fleece for her dog. I sell the patterns for the female dog diapers, the male dog diaper wrap bellybands, dog t-shirt, and reversible jacket vest, for pugs and Yorkies, in my Etsy store.

The reversible dog jacket vest is 15" by 11" when finished, and is SO simple to make, with Velcro / sew on hook & loop closures that connect down the chest and tummy, wrapping around the female Yorkie or small toy breed dog.

Fits small toy breed dogs with 9" to 11" waist

All you need are 2 pieces of fabric, for the front and back, a large roll of thread, or 2 depending on how many colors you have, a large pack of straight pins, and Velcro sew on hook and loop! Most supplies can be bought at Joann Fabric, except bamboo fleece, which can be bought online. I've used cotton flannel and fleece, but you can use whatever you like, or your furbaby loves against their fur!
