A fitted beanie that can easily be turned into a slouchy simply by knitting more rounds. Written in 2 weights, super bulky and bulky, as well as info for 3 yarn types, such as Malabrigo Rasta, Lion Brand Thick and Quick, a lighter super bulky often used by indie yarn dyers, such as Dancing Skies Fiber Arts Chunky base and Madelinetosh ASAP, and bulky Malabrigo Mecha.

The Hashtag Beanie is knit using the mosaic method of colorwork. Beginner friendly! A perfect way to try your hand at 2 colors! It uses slip stitches and alternates colors every two rows, so no need to worry about floats and tension! It’s a really cool way to knit colorwork! Experiment with colors and have fun with it!

Materials

Needles: US 11, 13 for super bulky and 9 and 10 for bulky.

Yarn: Super Bulky Color A: 58 yds and Color B: 36 yds

Lighter Super Bulky Color A: 53 yds and Color B: 32yds

Bulky Color A: 75 yds and Color B: 49 yds

Gauge: in pattern on respective needles:

Super Bulky: 12 sts x 14 rows

Light Super Bulky: 12 sts x 16 rows

Bulky: 18 sts x 28 rows
