Opposition in Marshall, Michigan  Residents in Marshall, Michigan are actively opposing a proposed AI data center project that the city’s Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) is working on with developer Alterra. Opposition stems from concerns about land use, environmental impact (including wetlands), lack of public notice, water and energy demands, and transparency in decision-making.
