Choose a planning mode, describe the trip, and generate an editable starter list. From there, you decide what belongs, what does not, how many to bring, and who is responsible for each item.
Start with a trip profile
Record the details that shape your own planning:
- Trip type and duration.
- Number of travelers.
- General climate choice.
- A packing-cycle assumption: None planned, Once mid-trip, About every 3 days, or About every 7 days. This is a buyer-selected organizational assumption; the app does not verify laundry availability, garment care, facilities, or supplies.
- A Compact, Standard, or Roomy packing-space preference. This is an organizational label, not a bag dimension, weight allowance, checked/carry-on classification, or carrier rule.
- Optional trip name; notes can be added to individual checklist items.
The included preset modes are General Vacation, Weekend, Beach / Tropical, Cold Weather, Cruise, Road Trip, Business, and Honeymoon / Destination Wedding. Presets add editable organizational prompts; they do not contain destination-specific requirements or guarantee a complete list. Cold Weather does not assess a forecast, exposure, road conditions, clothing performance, or cold-related safety. Cruise does not retrieve vessel, cruise-line, port, excursion, baggage, documentation, health, or onboard rules.

Privacy and offline scope
After download, the app is designed to run locally. It has no account system, analytics tracker, advertisement, remote script, cloud sync, remote file upload, or network call. JSON import reads a buyer-selected backup locally in the browser; it does not send that file to Valas. Entries remain in the browser profile used to open the file unless the buyer exports them, prints them, or clears that browser data.
Browser-local storage is not encrypted cloud storage and is not a managed backup. Anyone with access to the same device and browser profile may be able to view locally saved information. Avoid entering passport numbers, payment-card details, medical records, account credentials, or other sensitive information. The buyer controls device access and exported files.
Important planning boundary
This is an organizational aid, not an authoritative packing or travel-compliance source. Generated items are editable starter prompts and may be incomplete, unnecessary, unsuitable, or unavailable for a particular traveler, destination, carrier, vessel, route, activity, accommodation, season, or condition.
The app does not retrieve or verify live weather, baggage limits, prohibited-item rules, transport schedules, visa or border requirements, cruise-line instructions, destination laws, health guidance, vaccination requirements, medication rules, accessibility needs, insurance terms, emergency information, or safety conditions. It does not know what a traveler owns, needs, may carry, or is permitted to transport.
Before travel, the buyer must review the current information supplied by the relevant airline or transport operator, cruise line where applicable, accommodation, destination or border authority, product manufacturer, licensed healthcare professional where appropriate, and any other authoritative source that controls the trip. Keep documents, medication, valuables, and safety decisions under direct personal control.
License and delivery
The download is licensed to one buyer for personal, non-commercial planning. It may be used for the buyer's own trips and household travel planning. The buyer may share a completed trip-specific list with people traveling on that same personal or household trip. The original app, blank product, and documentation may not be resold, redistributed, shared as a download, repackaged, posted publicly, used to create products for sale, or delivered to clients without separate written permission.

FAQ
Is it really free?
Yes. The price is $0, not pay-what-you-want. Payhip's free digital-product checkout normally asks for an email address and does not require payment details. Payhip still requires the seller to have a payment processor connected.
Does it create the same checklist for every trip?
No. The starter list responds to the profile and preset selected, and every result remains editable. Different inputs can produce different prompts.
Is the generated list guaranteed to include everything I need?
No. It is a starting point for review, not a completeness guarantee. Add, remove, and verify items for the actual people, destination, activities, conditions, and current rules involved.
Does it check airline baggage or prohibited-item rules?
No. It has no live carrier data and does not determine whether an item may be packed in checked or carry-on luggage. Check the current information from the exact transport operator and relevant authority.
Does cruise mode know my cruise line's rules?
No. Cruise mode supplies general editable prompts only. It has no cruise-line, port, itinerary, excursion, border, or onboard-policy feed.
Does Cold Weather mode tell me what is safe for the forecast?
