This shawl forms a set with the Wavelength scarf. A discount is applied when both patterns are added to your cart.
A long, narrow, triangular shape, this shawl starts with just a few cast on stitches. Two colour syncopated brioche is used to depict a vanishing (or evanescent) wave.
350 - 400 m (380 - 440 yds) each of two colours of fingering weight yarn and 3.5 mm (US4) needles are used. Slightly more of the contrast colour than the main colour is required, so make sure you have enough yarn. The pattern is written and includes a schematic of the shawl. The pattern is long, but not complicated.
Stitch abbreviations and chart symbols are based on those developed by Nancy Marchant.
