What's inside (one .xlsx file):

• Transactions: date, description, category dropdown, amount, account and notes. Type and month fill in automatically.
• Categories: 20 starter categories (income and expense, in 7 groups) you can rename, add or remove.
• Budget: your planned amount for each category, each month, with year totals.
• Monthly: pick a month to see budget, actual, difference and % used for every category, plus totals.
• Summary: income, spending, net and spending vs budget for all 12 months, spending by group, and a chart.
• Settings: your year and currency symbol. Type your own currency symbol; amounts are plain numbers, so it works for any single currency (it doesn't convert between currencies).

The example numbers on the Budget and Transactions tabs are made up to show how the sheet works. They aren't a suggested budget. Clear them before you start.
