Yorkie female dog diaper sewing pattern pdf download for Yorkshire Terrier with pocket panel inside for pad

If your cute little fur baby is in heat, or having accidents, this diaper for your pet is a good fit!

My boyfriend's mom had me design and make female dog diapers for her pugs, and then I modified the size to fit Yorkies. I created dog diaper wrap bellybands for Yorkshire terriers, and then had the chance to make these for the female dogs. I sell the patterns for the female dog diapers, the male dog diaper wrap bellybands, dog t-shirt, and reversible jacket vest, for pugs and Yorkies, in my Etsy store.

The diaper is 17" by 11" when finished, has a 2" hole for the tail, Velcro / sew on hook & loop closures that connect, wrapping around the female Yorkie or small toy breed dog.

Fits small toy breed dogs with 9" to 11" waist

Optional stretch nylon pocket to hold a cut up pad or diaper cloth, or even use extra bamboo fleece to make pads, used for the inner lining - I use bamboo fleece, which you can order online, site links included in pdf download to buy - Bamboo fleece, which is 70% bamboo / 30% organic cotton, 500gsm (grams per square meter weight). Or you can use cotton flannel for the lining fabric. Elastic is placed along the sides of the crotch pad pocket, and along the belly area with tab straps that wrap from under the belly, up and over to the back. There are even lines, areas on the pattern for where to place and connect the elastic. Outer fabric can be ripstop nylon (like umbrella, parachute fabric and water resistant), or use cotton flannel, or denim / twill. Most supplies can be bought at Joann Fabric, except bamboo fleece, which can be bought online.
