This Line Art Unit teaches the Element of Art: Line through a video presentation, a PDF slide deck, informational handouts, a mini art challenge, an art history lesson on Edvard Munch and 3 full step-by-step art project tutorials. It is a complete, done-for-you unit of 110+ pages.

It is made for elementary and middle school art teachers, homeschool educators, art on a cart teachers and art subs. Students learn about line, experiment with it, and then use it in three projects: a Blue Heron, a Toucan and a Rain Drops composition.

WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING

★★★★ “I am not an art teacher so when I found out that I was going to be teaching a period of art this year, I panicked. Thank goodness I found these lesson plans...they were a lifesaver. They are incredibly easy for a none artistic person to understand and implement! And my students loved the projects!” Jessica M.

HOW TO USE IT

To prep, print the student handouts (step-by-steps, rubrics and reflection sheets), gather the materials listed in each lesson plan, and project the step-by-step slides or use them as a guide for live demonstrations. Google Slides and a printable PDF are included for distance learning and hybrid teaching.
