TCL C835 Dolby Visionn LUT Calibration (Fimrware 618)

I used the world's best reference instruments for the calibration, the Jeti specbos 2501 hires 2 nm spectroradiometer and the Klein K10A colorimeter.

How to apply LUT?

Files starting with PID must be copied to the root directory of a pendrive, then the XXXX part must be replaced with the PID identifier of your own TV.

The PID code of the TV can be found under Settings --> System --> About --> Product Information.

Enter the Product Information menu item, then under the Software section, you will find the Project ID. Note down the project ID number, then rename the files starting with PIDXXXX_, so that we replace XXXX with our own PID number.

For example, if our PID number is 2543, then rename the file "PIDXXXX_DV_Movie_EndUserCalibration.cfg" to "PID2543_DV_Movie_EndUserCalibration.cfg".

Do this with all the files named PID.

Then connect the pendrive to the TV.

Play any Dolby Vision content on the TV, then select the Dolby Vision Dark picture mode. Next, find the DDC menu item and select the Import Data option within it.

Here, select all the files that the TV offers and click the OK button.

We will have a new picture mode called Calibrated Movie.

In this picture mode, we have to set the values based on the provided video.

LUT kalibráció

A  PID-vel kezdődő filet egy pendrive gyökér könyvtárába kell másolni, majd az XXXX részt ki kell cserélni a saját TV-nk PID azonosítójára. A TV PID kódját a Beállítások --> Rendszer --> Névjegy --> Termékinformáció alatt találjuk meg, lépjünk be a Termékinformáció menupontba, majd a Szoftver rész alatt találjuk a Projektazonosítót. Jegyezzük fel a projektazonosító számsort, majd nevezzük át a

PIDXXXX_-el kezdődö fileokat, úgy, hogy az XXXX helyére a saját PID számunkat írjuk. Példáúl, ha a PID számunk 2543 akkor a "PIDXXXX_DV_Movie_EndUserCalibration.cfg" filet evezzük át

"PID2543_DV_Movie_EndUserCalibration.cfg"-re. Az összes PID nevű fileal tegyünk így.

Ezután csatlakoztassuk a tv-re a pendriveot.

Indítsunk el bármilyen Dolby Vision tartalmat, majd válasszuk ki a Dolby Vision Sötét képmódot, ezután keressük meg a DDC menupontot, azon belül pedig válasszuk az Adatok importálása opciót. Itt válasszuk ki az összes filet amit felajánlj a tv és kattintsuk az OK gombra.

Lesz egy új képmódunk, melynek neve Kalibráló membrán, ebben a képmódban állítsunk be minden értéket a mellékelt videó alapján.
